So happy to have it back.

To play safe, I have stopped using the deployant buckle that came with the watch and changed to an after market tang buckle which I very much prefer plus is safer. The problem was not with the deployant buckle - but rather the holes on the strap was a tad large compared to the pin on the deployant buckle , after careful investigations. It may be a case of me asking for a shorter strap and I got a strap with slightly larger holes from the boutique. Anyway a tang buckle is less fussy and a lot safer so I am using the tang buckle now smile

My experience with the strap holes and deployant buckle has been submitted to Montblanc HQ and they are studying this to see how they can improve on the buckle pin vs the strap holes to avoid such a situation again.

Now that I have my watch back, I am going to fully enjoy it again. This is such a nice watch and great value that I don't really care for the buckle. An aftermarket tang buckle works perfect for me smile

I also prefer infinitely more buckles and always change my watches' straps to buckles upon purchase. Have a great time with your baby! Alex

I have to say that pictures of this model don't really allow for the real life impression, which it left with me. Glad that you've got yours back, and that you can now let it take some of your attention from you. Enjoy and best regards, Kolosstt

Btw, I'm a big fan of tang buckle. Always prefer it to deployant.
