Nilomis shares his exciting flea market find: a vintage Omega Memomatic, a unique alarm watch from the 1970s. This post delves into the distinctive features of the Memomatic, highlighting Omega's innovative approach to alarm complications and the personal journey of restoring a vintage timepiece.

First of all, Bravo, my friend. A nice grey leather strap will be perfect on this Memomatic. Less funky, but not less lovely. Maybe even more? I am very happy for you. All the best, Nicolas
Interesting movement, I go to post some movement pics (Lemania?) when my watchmaker opens the case. Cheers, Nilo
Pretty busy week but I plan to do this before the weekend. Cheers Nilo
I replaced the metal bracelet on my all white pilot version with a natural python strap - definitely in the grey palette but probably not suitable for the blue dial. Enjoy it - I wear mine a lot - the increased precision for setting the alarm comes in handy at work. Ginger
Ginger, Good morning. I tried two straps. First one was dark gray (a tad darker than the inner dial) and one simple all black one. So far, under my wife judgement, the all black wins. It will be the watch of the Monday (not too much work -- Memorial day in US). Cheers, Nilo
Hello, the original Omega leather band in mat black is the best. this is my Memomatic. Have a nice day, Primoz Draksler
