Appreciate the kind words, actually...

It is usually difficult to get to that part of town due to traffic, so I wasn't sure if I could attend. I got inspired by your post (and BTW...Congrats on your Omega Spectre!!!) and was determined to check it out in person. As they say, wear that Omega in good health christianch! -MW

re: Omega

Honestly, the watches were cool. The blue dial is eye catching and the Spectre has the ceramic/liquid metal bezel. You can see why PuristS such as 'christianch', 'PadJ', 'Semper Fidelis', and 'TdotBean' are so enthralled by their new toys. As for the movie, I thought it was absolutely horrible. It was way too long and had too many dull moments. While it was nice to see his gadget (his Omega) actually did something, it couldn't save the film. -MW

another review of the movie

In my opinion the move had no dull moments. There were some quite tense fighting scenes that is a "trademark" for Daniel Craig's impersonation of Bond. The whole movie is comfortably to watch without the notion of its length (2,5 hours). What I could see in Craig's performance was a higher level of cockiness, a bigger self-esteem. Maybe this was due to the fact that Craig has co-produced the movie. The into to the movie sang by Sam Smith with the accompanying opening trailer was very good. Overa
