JJnBB shares a heartwarming look into their and their wife's shared passion for watch collecting, showcasing a diverse 'Couple's Collection' of Patek Philippe timepieces. This post beautifully illustrates how watches can symbolize love and shared memories, featuring both iconic references and special anniversary editions.

My wife and I met and got married in 2010.  We both share one hobby passionately which is Watch collecting.  Since then, we keep on treating each other with nice pieces from Mr. Stern one by one.  So today we would like to share our small Couple’s collection that is full with love and memories to friends in this forum.

Starting with the simple, yet elegance 4936G and 5960P.

We both are lucky to get our hands on the 175th commemorative pieces, 7175R and 5575G.

The rose set, 7010R and 5712R.

Followed by the classics duo Nautilus, 5711A and 3710/1A.

Reine de Naples being paired with another classic from Mr. Genta’s Royal Oak Chronograph.

Exceptional pieces from Hermes.  The dial is mesmerizing in real piece.

Last but not least, the 5975G awaits his lost love so that we could cut the seal together.

Some close up shots for these gorgeous pieces.

Closing this post with the group shot of our couple’s collection.

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the eye candies.  Cheers!

About the Patek Philippe Ref. 5960

The Patek Philippe Complications reference 5960A, introduced in stainless steel, represents a significant offering within the brand's annual calendar chronograph series. This particular reference is notable for being the first annual calendar chronograph from Patek Philippe to be offered in a non-precious metal, making it a distinctive piece in the Complications collection. It combines practical complications with a robust case material, appealing to collectors seeking a blend of utility and horological complexity.

This reference features a 40.5mm stainless steel case, housing the self-winding Caliber CH 28-520 QA 24H. The movement provides a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and is visible through a sapphire crystal case back. The dial is presented in white, protected by a sapphire crystal, and the watch is water-resistant to 30 meters. The integrated stainless steel bracelet complements the case material, providing a cohesive aesthetic.

The 5960A in stainless steel holds a specific position for collectors due to its material choice and the integrated bracelet, differentiating it from its precious metal counterparts. Its combination of an annual calendar and chronograph functions, along with the 24-hour indication, makes it a highly functional and mechanically interesting timepiece. The special hand set and case back decoration mentioned for this specific 5960A further emphasize its unique attributes within the production run.

I have thought a bit according to the same lines. For us the perfect pair for Reine de Naples is Also Rolex Yacht-Master makes a wonderful pair. It should not be impossible to find a 175 Anniversary Chronograph for ladies. I handled one a couple of weeks ago in an AD. Best, Kari

you are a lucky man married to a generous lady with a great passion and taste. I think most of us Purists here on PPro would love to see our others halves learning from yours.

I showed my wife your post :) It's such a joy when your other half loves horology as much as you. I wish my wife will feel the same way :) Excellent couple pairs! You both have a great collection to enjoy and cherish. Thanks for sharing here with us Cheers Robin
