LEFT: Reference 5089G-059 in wood marquetry, "Roped Alpinists."
It comprises 262 pieces of wood from 27 species with 40 inlays reflecting different textures, veining and colors. All mounted on a gold back. This 2018 limited edition Calatrava wristwatch celebrates the majesty and beauty of the Alpine landscape that – together with watchmaking – has made Switzerland famous.

RIGHT: Reference 5738/50G-015 in enamel, "Ellipse 70."
This limited edition with dial in Grand Feu cloisonné enamel marks an unprecedented meeting between the renowned design of the Golden Ellipse, launched in 1968, and the geometric motifs typical of the 1970s. To outline this play of straight and curves echoing those of the case, the enameller used 69cm of 24K yellow gold wire measuring 0.1 x 0.45mm in cross-section, which he cut into tiny segments and shaped by hand before fixing it to the gold base plate.

Superb taste!

Two of the very nice models when it comes to „rare handcrafts“. Like the mountain Motive a lot, too! Congrats again! Best Tempus
