9 January 2013 β The worldβs first new Richard Mille concept boutique was officially launched on December 14th 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, with a press preview luncheon followed by an evening cocktail and launch party to celebrate the auspicious occasion. The evening's launch cocktail party commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Richard Mille, his partner Dominque Guenat, Asia Pacific business partners Mr. Nurdian Cuaca and Mr. Dave Tan, and friend of the brand, international celebrity, Datuk Seri Michelle Yeoh.The evening continued with a gothic-themed party at 'club RM', a gallery space in the Grand Hyatt magically transformed just for the evening's party. Approximately 300 guests and members of the media attended the party alldressed up to the Goth Couture theme. The opening guest performance by popular K-pop girl band Miss A created a rousing party vibe as they belted out upbeat Korean pop hits to get the party started. Celebrity DJ Leo Lanvin from France was also specially brought in to headline the party with thumping house grooves at the deck.In line with Richard Mille's reputation for complications in their timepieces, a special edible dessert art installation "Life Beat" inspired by the internal layers of individual parts of the various Richard Mille watches was created as a centre piece of the party by a local celebrity chef.The new Richard Mille boutique is now open at Grand Hyatt Singapore, level one.Press Release
