Love the changes to the new Sub in general and to the LV in particular, it is a total winner!

About the Rolex Submariner Ref. 126610LV

The Rolex Submariner reference 126610LV, introduced in 2020, represents a significant update to the brand's professional dive watch collection. This particular reference is distinguished by its black dial and green Cerachrom bezel insert, a color combination that has become a recognizable feature within the Submariner lineage. It succeeded previous green bezel Submariner models, incorporating updated technical specifications while maintaining the core aesthetic of the Submariner. This model is positioned as a contemporary iteration of a robust and functional tool watch.

The watch features a 41mm Oystersteel case, a slight increase from its 40mm predecessors, and is fitted with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a green Cerachrom insert. Powering the watch is the automatic Caliber 3235, a movement known for its precision and efficiency, offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal and is water-resistant to a depth of 300 meters, ensuring its durability and performance in demanding environments.

For collectors, the 126610LV holds appeal as a modern Submariner with a distinctive colorway. Its introduction marked a new chapter for the Submariner line, incorporating the latest generation movement and a subtly revised case profile. This reference is a current production model, making it a contemporary offering within the broader Submariner collection and a point of interest for those following the evolution of Rolex's professional series.

Excellent duo, and one of the few pictures where it's actually easy to tell one model from the other! ;-)) My preference is for the "original" Kermit (left), but hard to go wrong with either one! Enjoy.

Thanks FabR, they do make a nice pair šŸ™‚

The original is very charming, as you know. This was actually the first time I’d seen the new Sub and I believe the new case proportions might seduce you as they immediately did me
