Shafran, a discerning collector, presents a captivating trio of chronographs, each a masterclass in horological complexity. This curated selection sparks a discussion on the delicate balance between intricate movements and aesthetic dial design, a perennial challenge for even the most esteemed manufactures.

What a threesome! Wear in good health
I’ll take the Lange 😊
What a trio though. I think you can be “done”, nothing else needed.
someday you may want to add triple spit and centigraph
The lack of a seconds hand bothered me
Super. Sometimes the watch movement gets so complicated that its dial design is compromised. (I think the Patek 5204 is an example, compared to Patek's own 5370, say.) But not in FPJ's example. Hence the brilliance. Besides this FPJ, I struggle to think of many BEAUTIFUL dials that incorporate split seconds chronograph with a date function... the Parmigiano Chronor split might be a candidate, but hardly anyone knows of it. Merry Christmas,
