SIHH 2015: Parmigiani's Bugatti Collection

PARMIGIANI's Interpretation of Bugatti Parmigiani, is a brand that is not as well known as Patek Philippe, but The Patek Philippe contracts Parmigiani to service, maintain, and restore most of the timepieces and automata in the Patek Philippe Museum. Recently,

I've become a fan of the brands mentioned here myself. Type 41 Royale Type 50S this car is just simply both sinister and scandalous. 120mph all day long... in the wet. Circa 1936

Wow!

It's amazing what these cars could do back nearly 100 years ago! Speeds that would still be considered fast even today. I really like your photo of the Type 50S. What's your favorite Bugatti vehicle (any year)? What's your favorite Parmigiani Fleurier Timepiece? Thanks for posting!

Well, you asked.

The time piece may surprise you. The Parmigiani Areolithe. I like chronographs. The car won't surprise. Here is Lord Rothchilds type 57 Atlantic. Was up then upgraded to a 57SC. He had to have the blower as soon as it was available.

Very nice!

Excellent taste. The car probably isn't attainable by someone like me (I might not even be able to afford to insure it, much less own it), so I'm regaled to the sidelines on the car. But the watch is something that I can genuinely appreciate and I've actually seen Parmigiani's chronographs before and they're very nice pieces. Have you tried one on? Did you notice how nice the strap was?

That is a crazy watch! Like you, I prefer the white metal one, but were diamonds necessary

??? I always liked the concept behind this Watch, the link with Bugatti... I am not mad about links between cars and watches, but when they are thought this way, I love! The strap is another good idea. Bravo PF! Once again, the big regret I have is the presence of these diamonds. Best, Nicolas
