One of our followers on Social Media shared this letter with us which was posted on an Aberdeen, UK shop's Facebook page yesterday. It is addressed to the thief who stole a Triwa Lansen Chrono brand watch which is worth around ÂŁ230. The brand is not sold by any other retailers in Aberdeen. The shop owner describes how the thief snatched the watch while she was busy helping customers and then tried to hide the remaining box under some socks. She kindly asks the individual to return the watch without penalty by simply sending it back.

The candid nature of the shop owner along with her feelings and intentions are quite evident in the letter. It is interesting how social media and the internet is used nowadays in this manner to communicate with people, not only friends but anyone and how it is used as a means of expression. And there are very good chances that the person will see the letter. What also comes through in the letter is how the shop owner seemed to be quite attached to the watch. She must have been to go through the trouble of writing it. It appears that the manufacturer has agreed to replace the stolen watch.

The letter is below. Article about this story can be found here.

I have lost my wallet three times in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Two times the person who found it first called me and then dropped the wallet to my home. Nothing was taken. Once the founder called me and said that I can pick it from him or then he can drop it to the police from where I can pick it up. Nothing was taken even this time. People in Finland are a bit different that i.e. here in Estonia. In the end, Finland was the only country in the world who as an example paid back all the l
