A few months ago, I had the opportunity and the pleasure to play with the Black Bay of the Year, the Fifty Eight Silver.

An intriguing offer from Tudor, as there are not many modern watches made in silver.

Chromatically, the watch is highly appealing, with its silver, grey and taupe hues.

The density of the case is very pleasing, too.

The only thing I am not mad about is the se through case back. I find it not very consistent for such a watch, and, moreover, there is nothing very interesting to see. The movement is good, for sure, but aesthetically not eye catching.

I think that from the straps, you will easily guess who is its owner.  wink

Best,

Nicolas

Perfectly captured Nicolas!

Totally agree with you about the case back and, let's split hairs, the overall colours are a bit too bright for my taste, especially under direct sun light (that over the shops' shelves where I have often seen it). Vive le nato bracelets!

The silver Black Bay is very attractive, yet I totally agree with you, the movement is not much to look at except we know the movement is reliable.
