Mary Anny's post highlights a common dilemma for watch enthusiasts: the need for precision tools like a loupe to properly inspect and maintain their timepieces. Her experience with the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight, revealing potential flaws and the challenges of strap changes, underscores the importance of proper technique and equipment. This discussion offers valuable insights for both new and seasoned collectors on protecting their watches from accidental damage.

It's not rust, just an effect of the super macro photograph! Thanks, for looking and commenting.
It scares me so much how the holes on those beautiful, thin lugs are positioned. So close to the edges... Will they last the presumably very long time I (my successors?) use the watch? What if they are polished every once in a while?!
