Black Surf Limited Edition
Maxi Marine Diver

The Marine Collection – Conquering the Oceans.

The Black Surf Limited Edition is the newest addition to our Maxi Marine Diver collection. Available exclusively in 18 ct rose gold, the attractive wave-patterned black dial supports applied luminous indexes. A black rubber strap with rose gold elements has been created to complement the movement and dial and the wave-patterned black rubber bezel has been crafted utilizing a distinctive rubber coating.

The Black Surf movement

The exhibition case-back offers an excellent view of this spectacular movement.
The officially certified self-winding movement (C.O.S.C) features a power reserve indicator and an oversized small seconds register. The 42.7 mm case is fitted with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a diving scale. The model is water-resistant to 200 meters. Each case is individually numbered.
The Black Surf is limited to 500 pieces in 18 ct rose gold.

So are the strap links gold or black?

I thinks this is a handsome piece. From the text it sounds as though the strap links will be gold. They look fine like that, but the picture showing black is also very nice, and accentuates the head a bit more. The use of rubber on the bezel sounds interesting.

I assume it is the rubber/ceramic strap ...

... that is issued with the "Black Ocean", aka "Stealth Diver". I also wondered why it is not mentioned in the text. Personally, I prefer that all-black strap, since it is a bit less conspicuous. Regards, Marcus

Basically, a Blue Surf coming with a RG case and a Black dial, Marcus?

The outcome is quite appealing, but for a Diving Watch, I would prefer the SS Blue Wave.... I recently saw one on a friend's wrist, and it is an awesome watch , with a nice presence and a great feeling of quality. Best, Nicolas

I love this watch

The problem is that I already have the UN LE diver in white gold...same as the Russian Prez's so I am not sure about the duplicity of divers but you never know.... Marcus is this a LE of 500 watches best regards, Jeff from florida...

The black dial against the rose gold case...

...is very pretty, but I frankly like dive watches in non-precious metals better. I always want a dive watch to follow its tool watch heritage, and to me, that means "no" to gold. It's a really striking timepiece though! Speaking of dive watches, I think the new titanium UN Maxi Marine Divers are gorgeous! Cheers, Daos
