Hororgasm's post from 2011 highlights the enduring impact of the Ulysse Nardin Freak, a watch consistently ranked among the most important horological innovations of the past two decades. His personal connection to the Freak underscores its significance beyond technical prowess, making this a timeless discussion for collectors interested in groundbreaking design and engineering.
Howdy Folks,
In any surveys on horology and the most important watches to emerge in the last 20 years, one can count on the Freak to be mentioned. The only controversy, if any, is where on the top 10 list it is placed.
the Freak was what brought me to the Purists in 2006/07. Beyond the horological impact the first Freak made, it will always have a personal impact on me.

Thanks for reading.
Best,
Horo
And better, in my appreciation for watches. In a certain way, this is my " Independant " watch. A crazy and refreshing approach of horology, which " widened " my view on watches. In the top 5 of modern watches, in my opinion; Best, Nicolas.
And I am glad it is serving you well. Best, Horo
Now the question is to know if I would get another one, like the Blue Phantom ( which I like a lot ) or the Diavolo... Hmmmmm.... Best, Nicolas.
I would have figured that the Freak deserved one. Best regards, George
But I will work to your request soonest. Best, Horo
how can they not leave an impression ! J
