Case apart, I cannot realize that the Sonata is 21 years old.

The dial is so modern, the complications are almost unrivaled, and this is such a perfect travel companion.

This is the kind of watch you are feeding a special relationship with. The excitement when I knew that Uylsse Nardin was announcing it, the first press pictures, the long wait before getting mine, the day I picked it at my favorite AD... And the many moments spent with it on my wrist, the many places visited...

The other thing is that it is the oldest watch in my collection. I mean the one I own for the longest time. And that is not nothing!

Cherry on the cake, this is one of the few " lucky watch " in my collection.

The " lawyer's shot ".

Long life to the Sonata!

Best,

Nicolas

Love it!

Another Oechslin creation I think. The thing I love about this watch is that the dial is so "welcoming". Somehow makes so many complications look not so complex.

Yes, Humair, Gygax, Oeschslin and Schnyder!

Such a gorgeous watch, as were so many UNs from that era that withstood the test of time, design-wise.
