DonCorson presents URWERK's 2017 SIHH novelties, celebrating the brand's 20th anniversary with two distinct models. This overview introduces the UR-T8, URWERK's first transformable watch, and the UR-106 Flower Power, a newly decorated version of an existing reference. DonCorson highlights the innovative case design and the continued evolution of URWERK's signature carousel time display.

The UR-106 Flower Power is a distinctive iteration within URWERK's UR-106 series, known for its satellite time display and unique aesthetic. This particular model emphasizes decorative elements, offering a fresh visual interpretation of the established UR-106 design.
The UR-106 features a satellite complication with three hour satellites, each carrying four hour numerals, rotating on a carousel. Minute indication is provided by a retrograde hand. The movement is self-winding. Case dimensions and material details are specific to the UR-106 series, often incorporating lightweight materials for wearability.
For collectors, the UR-106 Flower Power represents URWERK's exploration of artistic expression within its signature mechanical architecture. It appeals to those who appreciate the brand's technical innovation combined with a more decorative and thematic approach to watch design.
the tail has no breaking point.

When Urwerk was in Taiwan they told me for the SIHH they will have a big watch, they certainly not kidding.
