KMII vividly recounts the inaugural Vienna MPG GTG (Get-Together), an event that brought together PuristS members for a memorable horological experience. From window shopping to an exclusive Omega museum visit and a Zenith presentation, this post captures the camaraderie and shared passion that define the WatchProSite community.

As you have gathered from Arie's and Damjan's posts a handful of us gathered in Vienna in the recent past.

Complete accident - I was running somewhat late and asked a group of friendly looking gentlemen about the time. Not only did they check their wrists in a synchronised manner, they started opening inconspicuous looking bags and pulling more pieces out to double check biggrin

Where did it all end up? Look for yourself wink

And I'm sure this was not even the final state of the table - the others will share better shots soon smile

The event was a real blast, starting with some window shopping, which resulted in very worried looks from watch store security personnel in several places wink Just imagine a group of very interested gentlemen checking and discussing every piece in the shop window - you'd get worried too smile

Next came the first highlight of the evening - a visit to the Omega museum smile

Not only was the welcome impeccable but there was so much to see, too. Again the others will have better pictures but to give you an impression...

Or...

And one especially for Art smile

The goose weeks had started, so I guess no one left hungry...

And a certain moderator ensured thirst was never a problem wink

All I can say about the event is that it was a real blast and that putting faces and names, and a joint experience to their online presence is always fabulous!

A great, heartfelt thanks goes to Ornatus Mundi for organising everything so spectacularly - this was another level! To Omega for their warm welcome and the time they took in hosting us and answering every single question (and there were many), to Zenith in showing us some great pieces and for their hospitality...

And last but not least to all attending Purists! Hours of unadulterated fun and I hope we get to repeat it again, soon smile

And as a sign of who we are and what we do, we left with more watches than we arrived with biggrin And Zabreg, the next drinks are on me! smile
