Some time ago Nicolas posted the news about the New 125 th Anniversary Edition of the Omega De Ville Trésor Co-Axial Master Chronometer 40mm.
What made me look closer is of course the red dial, which looks stunning and the fact that it has a manual wind chronometer movement with central seconds and no date.
A combination we not often see nowadays.
The size is in the middle of my sweet spot, 40 mm in diameter. The combination of Yellow gold case and red dial looks really great.
Eye catching!
Now the red alligator strap may be a bit too much, but I could well see this one on a black or dark grey strap.
Classic elegant, yet with an edge!
The 125 th Anniversary: “The Omega name was inspired by the revolutionary 19-ligne ‘Omega’ Calibre in 1894.”
To celebrate this, Omega opted for a closed case back, very nice red enamel and engraving.
Inside is the manual Calibre Omega 8929 with Co-Axial escapements, Certified Master Chronometer, approved by METAS.
Two barrels mounted in series to ensure the 72 hours power reserve.
Antimagnetic up to 15.000 gauss, water resistant down to 30 m.
Yes, a very nice offer from Omega for anyone who likes a manual wind movement, time only, without a date!
Best
