Just magnificent. An exceptional, museum quality A. Lange & Söhne full hunter pocket watch (Ref 68923), dating from 1910 and in as near to mint all-original condition as you will find for a watch dating back over 100 years - there is virtually no wear at all. It is rare to find a watch of this standard offered for sale on Ebay, something I can only do due to the second-to-none reputation I have built up over many years, both on Ebay and my own website.
The watch is heavy in the hand (107.22gms) and features a gorgeous big (54mm) gleaming solid 14ct pink gold full hunter case, original mint crisp white porcelain dial (no cracks, fading or chips - could have been made yesterday), original mint fancy gold hands, replacement clear lens, and a mint Lange & Söhne crown-wound movement. The movement is in full working order, with no issues. The same '68923' reference number is found on all parts of the case and movement, showing that the different parts of the watch are original to each other.
It goes without saying that the watch will make an excellent financial investment, as fewer and fewer antique pocket watches of this standard are coming to the market. The price might seem a lot to spend on a watch but to put it into perspective remember that you will happily spend far more on a car, the value of which will drop like a stone, while this watch will only ever rise in value. And if you live overseas we are happy to hand deliver the watch, subject to a deposit and purchase of a flight ticket.
You can feel confident buying from me - my reputation is there for all to see. My vintage watch business is my hobby and passion and I own www.clicktempus.com - one of the most influential online watch magazines. I also co-own venture capital firm Baringxavier (www.baringxavier.com), among other business interests, so I have no interest or need to treat you or your money unprofessionally in any way. And I offer a full refund if you are not entirely happy with your purchase. I also provide a full receipt, six months guarantee (long enough for you to assess working order) and a professional insurance valuation (I am approved to provide insurance valuations for wrist and pocket watches). I also welcome you to come and view the watch at my central London address, in New Bond Street - by appointment only. I offer my customers online prices - below value - with offline availability and service.
