FS: A. Lange & Sohne - 1815 BLUE DIAL White gold - exceptionally rare Lange
The long discontinued First Series 1815 - rarest dial (blue)
Manual wind, thin, gorgeous, 36mm case. Most were YG, RG, or PT. Very few were WG black dial. But the rarest and most desirable? The WG Blue dial 1815 - very few ever come to market
Reference 206.027. Comes with watch, Lange WG tang buckle, and Lange service box. Comes on a very nice third party black strap, made by Blancpain ($350 retail price for the strap).
Case condition is very eye clean. I would call it 90% and looks spectacular on the wrist. A few things keep it from grading higher - One small mark on the bezel (not a scratch, so you can't see it easily) above 1, quite small and was hard to even capture in pic, and the crystal has a very small mark (literally 0.1 mm) near the center which is hard to see on the wrist but I want to mention it.
Movement is buttery to wind, very smooth. German silver movement with the usual patina that develops over time.
To get a long discontinued, rare Lange 1815 blue dial at this price? Unheard of.
Priced at $11,800 - wire only and price includes free shipping CONUS FedEx insured from here in San Francisco, CA. Lots of references. Thanks for looking!
