For sale is a rare and special A. Lange & Sohne Grosse Langematik Gangreserve, reference 304.048. Limited edition of 100 pieces in yellow gold made for the anniversary of the Wempe Chronometrewerke in 2005. 40.6mm in diameter, 9.5mm in height. Unique caliber L921.6- the only version of the spectacular Sax-0-Mat movement that includes a power reserve complication, and also has a ruby held with a gold chaton and blued screws. Purchased new by me from Wempe Paris. The watch has been extremely well-cared for and has been serviced x 2 by Alkis. Full set- with bespoke wooden box (paying homage to the boxes of ship chronometers) and complete papers. Affixed with a brand new ALS strap. Absolutely no issues. The watch is a joy to wear. Only selling as I have acquired another grail Lange LE. These rarely come up for sale. $27,500 inclusive of shipping/insurance within the continental US.
