A. Lange and Söhne Lange 1

FS:  Lange 1 101.027x White Gold Silver Dial Blued Hands -  PRICE REDUCED!

The 101.027x is one of the hardest to find of all Lange 1 dial/metal combinations.  I was told that this combination was originally created as a Special Issue for Cellini only, but that when other AD's complained, it was released as a "regular item".  However, it was discontinued after only two years, and it has been reported on TimeZone that as few as 300 were ever made.  Here's one, and it is being offered for less than most "regular" Lange 1's!

The iconic Lange 1 is a perfect 39mm with one of the loveliest and softest winding manual movements available.  What can I possibly say that hasn't already been written about this masterpiece?  All I can do is apologize that my photographic skills don't capture the true subtle beauty of this gem.  The dial is a lovely grainy silver, and the hands and strap are both blue, despite what looks like black in my pictures.  The White Gold case gives the watch great heft and wrist presence.

The watch head is in Near Mint condition with the strap perhaps more like Excellent due to creases and curvature from light wear.  I will also include for the buyer a brand new never worn dark blue aftermarket Handmade Louisiana Alligator strap.  The package is complete with all boxes and papers, including warranty stamped by the Authorized Dealer.  In the name of full disclosure, I must mention that the top of the outer cardboard box has partial splits on the rear corner seams.  The closet in which I store all my watch boxes never noticed, and most likely neither will you!  You'll be much too busy looking at the watch.
