    📖 About This Reference

The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Moonphase reference 109.025 unites the noblest case material -- platinum 950 -- with the celestial beauty of a precision moonphase complication, all housed within the Lange 1's legendary asymmetric dial layout. The rhodium-finished dial lends a cool, contemporary tone to the proceedings, while the moonphase disc at the lower portion of the dial introduces a burst of deep blue that provides the watch's singular accent of color. The contrast between the silvery dial surface and the midnight-blue lunar display is quietly spectacular. Driving this 38.5mm masterwork is the caliber L901.5, a hand-wound movement based on the Lange 1's core L901.0 architecture with the addition of A. Lange & Söhne's precision moonphase module. The movement delivers 72 hours of power reserve and features all the finishing hallmarks the manufacture is known for: hand-engraved balance cock, blued screws, gold chatons, and the three-quarter plate in untreated German silver. The moonphase requires a single day's correction every 122.6 years, a standard of astronomical accuracy that reflects the perfectionism woven into every aspect of the brand's approach. In platinum, the 109.025 represents the apex of the Lange 1 Moonphase range. The dense, heavy case has a presence that gold cannot replicate, and the rhodium dial matches the metal's cool character perfectly. This is a timepiece for the collector who has studied the entire A. Lange & Söhne catalog and concluded that the intersection of the Lange 1's architectural genius with the moonphase's celestial poetry, expressed in the most precious metal available, constitutes something close to a perfect watch.

    1st Lange
Traded Patek 4947a for Lange moonphase 109.025 due to better value and rarity. First platinum watch, enhancing collection diversity without extra cost. Appreciates day/night indicator on moon disk.

Need Help! Lange 1 or Lange 1 MP
This will be my second Lange and I need the iconic Lange 1 in my collection. I can purchase the Lange 1 in white/yellow/rose gold. Alternatively, I can purchase the Lange 1 MP in white gold (black dial). I have the datograph and part of me thinks the original lange 1 in yellow gold is the way to go.

    Which First Lange
I'm just thinking out "loud", but maybe you can help with my self-brainstorming process... I would like to add my first Lange to my collection during 2010. I have been doubting about several models and I think I have narrowed down the election to four possible models. All of them with their pros and

    Hi,

$22k is at the very high end of asking price. I would be taking
the watch as an accommodation having to resell it. The most I would be willing
to consider for trade is $18k.

    Thanks,
