The watch is in Hong Kong with me. Much has been written about the incredible construction and beauty of this great rattranpante, dubbed the ‘Mighty Double Split’, or DS for short. First introduced in 2004, this 200 gram behemoth with its 43 mm diameter sits impressively on anyone’s wrist - perfect in a Suite-and-Tie as it does with jeans and polos. This piece is in flawless condition, and has undergone service in the last 18 months, and since service wrapped and unworn comes complete with original platinum folding buckle, presentation box and all papers. The very reasonable price asked for: Hong Kong (face to face deal): HKD 600,000* Singapore (face to face deal): SGD 99,000* Ship internationally**: USD 77,000 or EUR 60,000* or best reasonable offer * Payment by bank wire transfer. ** I ship internationally to most cities, but at additional cost to the buyer. Shipping will be insured, and tracked, via DHL with additional insurance through Parcel Pro, but again buyer will bear all cost (which I estimate to be approximately 800 USD in total). Double split means that both the seconds & minute hand can split & maintain a separate 30 minute counter from the original. Traditional split watches only have a split second - which allows for timing an additional increment of up to 60 seconds. This watch allows for an additional timing of up to 30 minutes. Chronograph movement with flyback function - allowing the stop-watch to be instantaneously restarted for continuous timing, without having to stop, reset and then restart the chronograph. Furthermore the minute hand of the chronograph jumps in 1 minute increments rather than continuously moving - this allows for accurate reading of the timing function. The movement has 40 jewels & beats at 21,600 vph. The movement has an approximate power reserve of 36 hours.
