Description

AP ref. 5043 in 18k WG white lacquer dial with thin black painted batons. This is quintessential AP with it's minimal Bauhaus like design, and yet with so much elegance. Design of this watch started from late 1950's until early 1970's with various dial design. However, this dial design is the best. Movement is ultra (extra thin) cal. 2003 which is one of the best ultra thin movement made. While the case is 31mm, because of the thin bezel width and the 28mm dial, the watch appears larger like a 33mm watch.

Watch is excellent condition, and like all vintage watches, there are some small scratches on the case, and aging on the dial. Dial is original but there is a small scratch between 1-2 markers (most of the dials of this watch have been redialed over the years).

Movement is working fine. Buckle and strap is generic.

This model is still reasonably priced due to the size, and market price seem to vary between 3-7k.
