VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH STRONG ANGLES WELL DEFINED, LETTING APPRECIATE THE REFINEMENT OF THE CASE AND LUGS.
IT SHOWS HONEST SUPERFICIAL SIGN OF WEAR - I HAVE NOT POLISHED IT - CANNOT SAY IF WAS DONE BEFORE.

Sorry to trouble you with a question, but... I've never before seen a rotor riding on jeweled bearing wheels! How novel! (Or is this just another instance of my very slow learning curve?) Any information you might have on that bit I'd appreciate! Not interested in buying at the moment—thought this is a lovely piece and I'm partial to cross-hair dials. Hello, no trouble at all. hi, thanks for chipping in. while I do not see myself posting this one in the forum (as I have it up for sale), I have no problem at all if you do it.
I have actually reviewed my research on the movement and have updated the add accordingly.
This is actually Cal.K2071 based on cal. JLC 493 and the jewels on the rotor were indeed kind of groundbreaking at the time.
it is an early, but not first, automatic cal from AP, however looking at the improved decoration Vs previous it could be considered as AP's answer to PP first automatic mouvement 12-600 lauched in 1953.
