Brassus Platinum Limited Edition 8 day movement timepiece
This Blancpain timepiece features the manual
winding BP13RO Caliber. The 13RO movement is rhodium-plated with fausses cotes
embellishment. It's constructed with 30 jewels and a shock absorber mechanism.
It includes three barrels, a straight-line lever escapement, a titanium balance
with 4 poising weights that are adjusted to 5 positions, and a
self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring. The mechanism oscillates
at 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
There is an 8-day power reserve subsidiary dial
at 12 o'clock, and a date aperture window at 6 o'clock. It features hours,
minutes, seconds, date and is water resistant to 100 meters. It features a
solid 42mm diameter three-body platinum case with stepped bezel and straight
lugs. It has a opaline dial with applied white gold Roman numeral hour markers,
an outer track with minutes/seconds divisions, white gold feuille hands, and a
center sweep seconds. It is fitted with an new Blancpain alligator strap and
matching platinum deployment buckle.
This watch was fully serviced in July 2013 by
Blancpain and it has not been worn since, it has been sitting in my safe.
So it
is in perfect working order. It comes in the Blancpain box with all original
documents. This is a very rare watch, only 260 were made.
