Blancpain Fifty Fathoms

Vintage Blancpain 'Fifty Fathoms' Aqualung, 12/3/6/9/ dial. A recent addition to my humble collection is now ready for a new home, due to an even more recent addition of the same reference . This watch is a 55XX serial and is 100% original (with the exception of the crystal which was replaced (necessarily) shortly after I acquired it), and is in great condition. For me, this was a particularly interesting example with an all matte microbille case. Generally 12/3/6/9 aqualungs are seen with polished cases. Anyway, this watch is correct in everyway, exactly as you would expect (2 pc caseback, stamped and signed dustcover). This watch came to me thru the family of the original owner. A few additional details: *Case - All matte microbille, original case finish. Do dings, no bumps, no dents, simply fantastic. *Dial - Very evenly spotted all over. *Hands - Perfect. *Bezel / Insert - Rotates well and completely crack free. *Caseback - Stamped Aqua - Lung (as it should be) and stamped with serial (4 digits) *Movement / Dust Cover - Intact, perfect. *Movement - 100% original. *Running well, no movement issues whatsoever. This dial is not NOS or perfect, but it's still very glossy and has got a great look, the spotting is very, very even. I'm a condition freak, but I do like character, and love this one.
