Hello Gentlemen, For sale, is a gorgeous 100% original and vintage Blancpain Fifty Fathoms No Radiation Aqua Lung. The No Radiation is one the most recognized and desirable of the Fifty Fathoms line. In fact, Blancpain recently released a reintroduction of this particular model into their current lineup. The No Radiation symbol was designed and printed onto the dial to indicate the changeover from Radium markers to Tritium. Because radium was radioactive and harmful, the No Radiation model made it particularly significant to Blancpain’s history. This is a must have for any serious vintage Blancpain collector. Dial: The No Radiation Aqua Lung dial configuration is a rare model and highly desirable. To many collectors, this is a must have dial configuration in their collection. The dial is in amazing and excellent condition. Even in color, the tritium markers are all full. The hands are also in great condition and are 100% matching to the dial. Very rarely do you get to come across such an amazing example! Bezel: The condition of the Bakelite bezel is in perfectly even color with no cracks. Some minor wear but overall excellent condition. Case: This particular example demonstrates what an excellent No Radiation Fifty Fathom specimen should look like. The case is in all original condition and never polished. There are normal wear and marks over the decades on the case. The edges are all sharp and defined and the lugs, being very full, still resemble the original shape.
