Just back from full service by Blancpain Switzerland Up for sale is a mint condition Blancpain Le Brassus Perpetual Calendar Split Second Chronograph in Platinum one of only 100 made. This Blancpain Perpetual Calendar Split Second Chronograph features the automatic Blancpain Calibre 56F9A. There are 466 parts in this high complication timepiece, it has 38 jewles, a power reserve of 40 hours and is water resistant to 50m. It features a split-second flyback chronograph, perpetual calendar, moon phase and leap year indicator. The opaline dial displays the day, month, date and moonphase and chronograph registers. The watch is housed in a platinum 42mm case with sapphire display and is fitted with optional saphire platinum caseback and original platinum caseback is included. It is fitted with an new alligator strap and Blancpain pin buckle. Note **I had this watch fitted with a new Sapphire Crystal Platinum Caseback** so i could see the remarkable movement, at a cost of $1031.80. It comes with the original caseback as well. Note ** This watch has just come back from a complete movement overhaul and a complete maintence service. It has been fitteded during this service with a new Platinum Pin Buckle, new Black alligator strap, new Opaline dial and new Platinum Sapphire caseback! (includes origional numbered platinum caseback). So it is still under a 1 year warranty from Blancpain, came back beginning of July 2013 and has not been worn since it's return. Not even taken out of the plastic covers that it returned in. Complete Service and parts $5,103.85. So this watch is in Perfect Working order. I have an extensive watch collection and i am selling some of the watches that i do not wear, mainly to fund another high end watch purchase. It comes in the box with the recent service documents and some of the original documents but not all. I purchased it pre-owned about 6 years ago and it came with some of the original documents. This is a very rare watch, only 100 were made..This is the only one listed anywhere around the world. This is a highly complicated timepiece, with a multiple complications. It is very very rare. I am happy to answer any questions, thanks for looking..

Blancpain finishes the 1315's bevels by hand. Here's why.
Blancpain noted for intricate movement decoration. Recent debate over Cal. 1315. Tim Mosso questions. Exterior angle rounding doesn't ensure mechanical finish. Bevel appearance on bridge doesn't imply mechanized process.

The "Beast"...
... okay, it's actually named Blancpain L'Evolution Tourbillon Carrousel, but given it's impressive technical and visual characteristics, the nickname may not be too far out 😉 During a visit at the Blancpain Boutique in Munich I had a chance to get closer to this very special watch, and I must admit

My visit of the Blancpain Manufacture (Le Brassus)
Me and my 11 friends were lucky to visit the Blancpain Manufacture in Le Brassus (Vall de Joux, Switzerland) The 2 hours visit started with chamfering, decorations, cotes de Genve and so on. Cotes de Genve are made pieces by pieces on this machine Then presentation of Tourbillon and Carrousel (bo

Baselworld 2013 report: Blancpain
Blancpain at Baselworld 2013 presented by Marcus Hanke This year, Blancpain presented to me only five of its new watches, two of which are breathtaking new complications, however. Therefore, I am posting more pictures per watch. I will start with the watch that has seen the most discussion already,

A Watch For a Tuesday
Ok. Maybe that's a dumb title, but it's what I happen to have on my wrist right now and I feel like posting its photo and the day of the week is as good an excuse as any. This is the limited edition Blancpain Le Brassus Equation du Temps Marchante. It's complications are two fold, or three fold, dep

comment could you tells me why dial is changed?

cameraclock May 4, 2014
When I took the watch...
When I took the watch into blancpain (swatch group) for a service they sent back the service cost and a list of optionals. So replacing strap, pin buckle, see through case back and replacement dial. I just said yes to all the optionals. I wanted the watch like new. The old dial was fine but just wanted the watch mint. It's not a 1950's patek or 1975 Rolex Daytona that replacing the dial the purist will say it's been ruined because new parts were replaced. The watch is still in current production in rose gold. Hope that answers your question. Chris

Hi my best price is $30kUS for paypal and 29kUS for direct deposit.  What are you looking to do. I am only looking to sell this watch to fund another potential purchase. If I don't sell it then I just don't purchase the other timepiece. I don't need to sell it. Thanks Chris.

Sorry I did realize I...
Sorry I did realize I still had this watch listed for sale. As in my item description I was only selling this watch to fund other purchases and in time my income means that covers the other purchase so I don't need to sell this watch. I do still have it and I would sell it for the correct price which I believe is the level I have been advertising it for. Sotheby's and Christies last year sold the same watch, one sold for US$33k and the other US$35k. One had a platinum deployment buckle and the other had a white gold deployment buckle. Mine has had 5k spent on full rebuild and I purchased a additional sapphire case back. It has not been worn since I had the rebuild. It also has a brand new unused strap on it which u am sure the auction don't. So it is in a lot better condition than the ones sold. I can supply as well as the platinum pin buckle a blancpain white gold deployment buckle. So that's the story. If you are seriously interested I believe my offer is good value for that watch. I would move down US 1k for you. So US29k for PayPal payment or US28k for direct deposit to bank. That's the best is can do. If your thinking somewhere like 20k, with no disrespect intended, please don't waste my time. Thanks Chris.
