Description
This is a beautifull Bovet Sportster, rare and very sought after. I bought a few years back (2000) in Asia and it has been a great watch. January 2009 I contacted Adler in London (official representatives of Bovet in UK) and sent the watch through them to Switzerland for full service including polish and new strap (this is a much larger than standard strap). The watch was away for 3 months and arrived back looking 100% new and ready to run for a good number of years. This alone was 950GBP.
So as you can see from the pictures the watch is new, strap has been bent to put the watch on a Scatola winder.
I am struggling to locate original outer box and paperwork but will provide correspondance with Adler and you can always call Bovet quote the watch number at the back and get its full history. Currently registered under my name and address.
Technical Bit
Three-body, polished and brushed, rounded polished band, brushed inclined bezel, asymmetric "Vendôme"-type lugs with screwed bars at 6, extended mobile geometrical-shaped pendant and winding-crown at 12, screwed-down transparent case back, square chronograph buttons at 11 and 1, sapphire crystals. D. Matte silver with printed black Chinese characters for the hours, subsidiary sunk dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30- minute register dials with unusual numeration, double aperture for the date at 12 with Arabic numerals. Blued steel skeletonized "bâton" hands. M. Cal. 2155, rhodium-plated, 28 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, 22K gold rotor. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 39 mm. Thickness 15 mm.

I have lots of references from TimeZone, and Ebay account with 100% positive feedback. I will send this watch free of charge anywhere in the world (of course offer has to be good). I will accept PayPal though would prefer wire transfer, and you can always pick it up from Aberdeen, UK or Amsterdam, The Hague area in Holland where I go at least every 2nd week.
