Breitling Navitimer

Men's 18k Breitling Navitimer, ref. 806, in 18k solid yellow gold - from the 1960's. This is a VERY rare bird, to say the least. Crisp (virtually unpolished) 18k case, marked Breitling on the inside and the outside. Clean Venus 178 movement, also marked Breitling. This watch keeps near-perfect time, and everything functions exactly as it should. Dial is superb. This watch makes a real statement. Old world quality. For collectors of rare vintage chronographs, this is a very cool opportunity to buy one you may never see again. In 30 years of collecting, I think I've seen 3 or 4 of these. There are lots that are steel, or the gold-plated top with the steel back, but a true 18k 806 Navitimer is almost never seen.
