Sellers Comments and Watch Condition:

I have inherited this piece, and thought about keeping it, but have decided on balance to sell it.  The watch is in working order, but, it no longer has a Cartier strap or buckle.  The case has a major ding against it (at about one o’clock), and usage marks on the gold case.  The case is solid gold; for a small wrist watch the case has heft to it.

To restore the watch the case would need a valet polish, a new strap and buckle fitted.  Cartier also recommended a complete service as well.  I would have undertaken the work but have decided instead to off load it.  There are no box and papers, but there is a letter validating the watch as Cartier from the firm itself, and a red Cartier pouch that I will send on with the watch.

It is a Cartier vintage piece (even with the quartz movement) and once a service, new strap and buckle are fitted, the watch will be a beautiful ladies watch for someone who wants a small watch.  Approximate cost for the servicing, new strap and buckle is around 500 sterling.
