Mint Cartier Ceinture 18ct gold ladies vintage watch - c1970s unworn - original Cartier strap & 18ct gold clasp - Cartier box & papers.

This is a stunning Cartier Ceinture ladies watch - one of my favourite Cartier vintage watches - dating from the early 1970s and completely unworn. I am selling the watch for Ralph Warburton, a customer of mine, who bought the watch new from the Cartier shop in the Peninsular hotel Hong Kong for his wife in the early 1970s. The watch was a 10th anniversary gift but she never wore the watch due to it being too small for her. It has been stored in a drawer ever since. The watch is therefore in mint vintage condition, with very minor storage wear - a very special 'one owner' find with wonderful provenance. The watch features solid 18ct gold stepped case, original winding crown, mint Cartier dial and a clean, freshly serviced hand-wound Cartier 17 jewel movement. It comes complete with its original Cartier crocodile strap and original Cartier solid 18ct gold folding clasp. It will be posted in its original Cartier watch box, with its original Cartier document holder and papers. The watch makes a beautiful statement on the wrist, something a bit different with a history, and will only rise in value. The watch is even better in reality than photographed so I know someone is going to be very pleased to receive it. Age: 1970s Case: solid 18ct gold Dial: original - mint Crown: original Movement: hand wound Cartier 17 jewel Strap: Cartier croc strap & 18ct gold clasp Case The solid 18ct yellow gold stepped case is in mint vintage condition and measures 25mm wide, excluding the original winding crown x 6.5mm thick x 25mm long. The inside back of the case carries the appropriate hallmarks for Swiss solid 18ct gold. The outside back of the case is signed 'Cartier', 'Paris' the '781003005' reference number and is hallmarked for 18ct gold. The case does not carry a personal inscription. Dial The original, unrestored dial is in mint condition and is signed 'Cartier' and 'Paris'. The original blued-steel hands are in mint unbent condition and the original lens is very clear. Movement The hand-wound Cartier 17 jewel movement is in mint clean condition and is signed 'Cartier', '17 Rubies' and 'Swiss'. The movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in excellent working order, with no issues. Strap This beautiful watch is on its original signed Cartier crocodile strap, which is in excellent condition. Attached is the original gleaming Cartier solid 18ct gold folding clasp, which is signed Cartier with the '152809' serial number and 18ct gold hallmarks. The watch comes complete with its original Cartier watch box, document holder and papers. A rare, highly collectible vintage watch from one of history's most exclusive names; will provide an excellent financial investment as well as a possession to enjoy.
