Description

Offered for sale is a beautiful Cartier Tortue Monopoussoir Chronograph, reference 2396, in 18K white gold, from Cartier’s highly regarded Collection Privée Cartier Paris / CPCP era.

This is one of Cartier’s most elegant and collectible modern complicated pieces, featuring the distinctive Tortue-shaped case, a single-pusher chronograph operated through the crown, silver guilloché-style dial, blued hands, Roman numeral XII, two-register chronograph layout, and exhibition caseback.

The watch presents very attractively, with a classic Cartier presence on the wrist. The case shows light signs of wear consistent with careful use. The dial appears clean and elegant, with crisp blue printing and applied pearl-style hour markers. The burgundy leather strap is used and shows visible wear, so please consider the strap as worn.
