Cartier Tank Cintrée

For sale, a Cartier Tank Cintrée limited edition of 150 pieces reference W1544451.

The Tank Cintrée, or “Curved Tank” draws its name from a curved case, which follows very comfortably the curvature of the wrist. This model is a 2005 edition of the original 1923 Tank Cintrée. It is made in France, similar to the original and was available as a limited edition of 150 pieces.

This timepiece houses the 9780MC hand wound movement manufactured by Jaeger Lecoultre for Cartier, which runs at 21,600 beats per hour with 19 jewels.

Curved Sapphire

As a Cartier classic model, it features a real sapphire cabochon at 3 o'clock.

Watch case is rather large, measuring 23mm x 46,3mm, and therefore has quite a presence on the wrist. It does not feel awkward though thanks to the shape of the case.
