Description

I am a private collector selling my Cartier XL 8 Day power reserve to help with a new acquisition.. This stunning limited edition piece is rare, numbered and absolutely beautiful. Polished 18k White-Gold tonneau "Tortue" case with18k white-gold octagonal crown set with a faceted sapphire. Domed Sapphire crystal glass and display back. Functions are Hours, Minutes, 8-Day power reserve, large date and small seconds. Water-resistant 30 meters. Dial is Guilloche silvered sun-burst with central rose motif, Roman numbers and blued-steel hands. Power reserve indicator and small seconds are diagonally opposite. Large date display is at the bottom left-hand corner. The Cartier Tortue is part of Cartier's exclusive Privee Collection. I am happy to answer any questions or send additional photos.

Hi Nick,  I am not...

Hi Nick,  I am not the original owner.  The watch was first sold on 2-21-2009 and I acquired it on 10-31-2011. Serial # 2761288 and reference # W1545951.  I am not home to check the case back but believe it has a slight curve.  I believe I have the original box and paperwork  but frankly am not 100% clear from memory.  I can and will check if you want me to so let me know.  I can tell you the watch was recently serviced by Cartier (I do for all my watches) and I do have the receipt.  The watch is in virtually perfect condition.  Frankly,  I have mixed emotions about selling this one as it is beautiful and I'm still wearing it off and on.

Hi Nick,  sorry for any trouble but I decided not to sell this watch.  FYI, it was serviced about a year ago and it is in mint condition.  I'm in L.A. so this would have been easy.  I am truly sorry for any inconvenience but as I said in my original email I had mixed emotions about this.
