Description

for sale, my mint condition chronoswiss delphis dating from 2003. the case is steel with gold bezels front and rear and gold onion crown. the movement is a highly modified early enicar auto with solid gold rotor seen through the glass caseback. the dial is solid silver with a lovely gillouche finish and has a unique time display of jump hour, retrograde minutes and subsecond.
attached to the case is an original brown croc strap with steel/gold deployment clasp. the watch has been barely worn by me in the 2 years i've owned it. prior to that it was NOS.
it keeps superb time and has spent most of its time with me on a winder.

it comes complete with all boxes and open papers.

Chronoswiss are in my mind a very underrated company whose ethos of using old movements and modifying them for purpose is not only a good one from the horological sense but environmentally friendly.

a very reasonably priced watch in my humble opinion. would consider a trade + cash for a Swatch Diaphane one as thats what the funds will probably go on.

First Regulateur
Latest acquisition - first regulateur in my collection...picked over a Maurice Lacroix regulateur, mainly because of the movement and the more classic look and size (I have a small wrist). Can anyone tell me how much was changed in the C122 movement over the original Enicar 165 base? Richard

Over the Years I've noticed that Chronoswiss is not really considered a....
sought after brand by die hard core collectors and enthusiasts. I hear no discussions regarding them nor hear of any excitement regarding their watches like I would hear and read about Chopards latest LUC pieces or amazing works by independents like Vianney Halter, Urwerk or Voutilainen pieces.
