Description

This is a lovely skeletonized LE chrono from the 1990's. It is built on the Valjoux 23 movement and says a lot about the exciting things Chronoswiss was doing at that time. The vintage movement is fascinating to observe. The large balance wheel seems almost industrial.

In terms of history this watch was purchased by me on the Purists site when it was offered by the founding Purist. Some here may recall seeing it. This watch has had about zero wrist time in the 2 decades I've had it, and it is still on the same strap as when I got it. In 2019 I did have the watch serviced and that was done by Lange NYC (Alkis Kotsopoulos).

Selling to make space for other things. Offers considered. Thanks for looking.

Because of the exotic strap this watch will only ship to a USA address.

Olde School Regulateur
Chronoswiss Regulator dials, inspired by old clocks in 1987, lack concentric arbors. Author bought one for watchmaker visit, led to fascination with watchmakers & owning multiple watches. Displayed watch with vintage racing Jaguar.
