USAI am selling my Daniel Roth Ultra-Thin, Ref. 107 in yellow gold.
Daniel Roth Ref. 107 is very rare and expensive. The movement beating inside is not another Girard Perregaux cal. 3000, but much more exclusive F. Piguet 71. FP 71 has an off-center rotor and is only 2.4mm thin, thinner even than Patek's micor rotor automatic, cal. 240 with thickness of 2.53mm. This is the same movement used in some of the very high end Breguet watches. The finishing of the movement is fantastic, on par with my VC Les Historiques Chrono. The engraved gold rotor has to be seen to be appreciated.
DR no longer makes watches with FP 71. Breguet has exclusive right to this calibre. Ref. 107 had a MSRP of around $18,000 (20,000 francs) when it was sold. What makes this particular even more rare is the fact that it is YG and black dial. Most DR watches are in WG and grey dial.
The watch is in Near Mint condition. The size is 38mmx35mm and wears like a 38mm watch. It was the larger size DR offered during the '90s. It comes with huge LE wood and leather box and papers. Watch was recently regulated and running perfectly.
I am reducing price to $4,450 shipped in US. International buyer please add $50. Many references available.
Thanks for looking,
John.
