Description
On sale today needs no further introduction, from FPJ, his first of the wacky & naughty innovation The Vagabondage. There are only a total of 69 pieces ever made worldwide and if you have the II and III, then you need the first and original to complete your collection!
This particular example is not just "another" Vagabondage 1. This is the Sincere Boutique limited edition (Singapore leading watch distributor since 1954). I was told that only a couple of pieces (I heard was 5 pieces or even lesser) are made for them. The dial has the Sincere logo motif after every hour marking, and even the movement has the Sincere motif engraved, with the year that Sincere was born and the year of their collaboration.
Overall, the platinum case on the watch looks almost dead mint, with nearly perfect brushed top and mirror polished sides). Watch keeps time well.
This watch was auctioned in Hong Kong Sotheby's many years ago and the original receipt and the original boutique receipt cum guarantee papers will be included in the sale. Double box is nearly mint too. The watch is a complete set.

📖 About This Reference
The F.P. Journe Vagabondage I represents the inaugural reference in the Vagabondage series, introduced in 2004. This reference establishes the foundation for F.P. Journe's exploration of unconventional time display concepts within a compact case format.
The 36.5mm platinum case houses the manual-winding caliber 1509 movement, delivering 40 hours of power reserve. The silver dial is protected by sapphire crystal, while a fixed bezel maintains clean lines. Water resistance extends to 30 meters, and the watch is completed with a leather strap.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking F.P. Journe's approach to alternative time displays in a more intimate case size. The platinum construction and manual movement align with the brand's commitment to traditional materials and hand-winding mechanisms. As the first Vagabondage reference, it occupies a specific position for collectors interested in F.P. Journe's horological concepts beyond conventional displays.
