I have this Girard-Perregaux automatic from the 1970s, caliber 480-457. The dial is in absolutely perfect, unrestored shape with a raised logo and raised hour markers. The dial is a beautiful, unusual shade of brown. The hands also look perfect.
The case is a good size, 39mm wide without the [signed] crown, and is light gold in colour - it almost looks steel in some lights. The case back is stainless steel, screw-on, and just has the serial number on it.
The only significant wear on the watch, other than the usual light scratches, is that the case is chipped on the back - though this is not visible while wearing. Even the crystal looks in fantastic shape.
The movement looks so clean, it looks brand new.
I am not looking for anything specific, so I'd like to hear any offers. I am particularly interested in the vintage Zenith Defy watches with the screw-down crown, Omegas with the 560/1/2/3/4/5 series movements, and other interesting GPs. Other than that, let's just hear what you've got.
I can send more pics if needed, sometimes it takes me a while to get a nice shot.
