Looongtime lurker here, registered in 2014 IIRC and grateful for the incredible wealth of information created by the members here. Given that I am somewhat of an unknown quantity and given my lack of posts, I am happy to provide references and can be found on eBay and IG under the name: @vintage_steel_watches

I thought that this watch might be particularly appreciated on this forum more than some others. So, for your consideration is a Glashutte Original 1845 Zeigerdatum (Hand Date) in stainless steel. The watch is in beautiful condition and comes replete with original box, papers, and unopened CD. Additionally, it includes GO service receipt and related service items. Dial & Hands : Gorgeous satin dial made from pure silver w/ Arabic numerals and white sub registers for the date/seconds. Beautiful blued breguet hands (one of the sub register’s hands was replaced at service, old hand included).

Case : Stainless steel @ 39mm.

Crystal & Caseback : Sapphire crystal and caseback.

Movement : Manual wind GUB 49 (28 jewels). A refined work of art; angleside finished edges and polished with pewter and rubies set in gold and individually screwed. The now discontinued GUB 49 was reserved for limited editions after the 1845 was discontinued (limited Senator Sixties in WG, etc.).

Bracelet : OEM Glashutte Original Black Louisiana Crocodile strap with deployant clasp. Strap exhibits wear and may be shipped separately if desired / necessary depending on location, CITES, etc. To be discussed with buyer.

Serial Number & Year : 0XXX (~2002)

Accessories : Glashutte Original Authorized Dealer stamped GO Booklet from Juwelier Axel Sedlatzek in Berlin, stamped, signed, and dated. Original wooden box with un-opened GO CD. Glashutte Japan service paperwork, old parts, and service case.

Service History : Watch had a full service/overhaul 2/2015 at the Swatch Service Center in Tokyo Japan and has been carefully worn less than 10 times since.

Comments : Watch comes from a personal collection and has been sparingly worn for the entirety of ownership. Produced from 1999 to 2002, the long discontinued 1845 line represents an amazing value given the level of quality and craftsmanship.
