Have never seen that dial configuration. Is it a limited edition. Very nice! [nt] No message body
Dr No Jun 21, 2019
Very few made, probably less than twenty altogether, possibly . . .
. . . fewer than ten.  I've seen only one other in circulation, not counting the one introduced at Basel '03.

Could you please post a picture Of your watch on today’s LA Times print edition with time and date set to 8:09. This is to verify you actually own this unique piece and have it in your possession.

Just askin'... You serious?
Dr No Sep 17, 2019
Naw, he's kidding, Miki . . .
. . . although you've gotta admit it is pretty funny ;-) . . .

Karree perpetuals are a love-or-hate type of watch, I guess.

Man, what’s the world coming to?... Next thing you know, you’ll be pimping out ‘Black Connie’...
;-)
Cheers,

Hey, when it's over . . .
. . . it's over.

Paring down to the Karree perpetual that kicked off the obsession eighteen years ago.

One GO perpetual is enough.

Not the case with Omega . . . they're all staying.  Especially . . .

. . . Black Connie.

Too Late... I've had "Dibs" on that beauty for at least a decade.
Dr No Oct 3, 2019
. . . and I've never forgotten, Miki! . . .
. . . even if the chances of parting with it are Slim and Nun.

fantastic deal and the provenance makes it even more desirable.  but at that price, i'm surprised it's not already gone!

Dr No Oct 3, 2019
Thanks for the moral support, Chris. One reason Karrees are a tough sell . . .
. . . is that GO produced them for only seven or eight years.  I was instantly smitten by the design, having owned four altogether.  And I'd still love to have a cal 42 variant.

Owning perpetuals made subliminal sense when I was working, and had reason to be aware of the calendar.  Now that I'm retired, the pull of the complication is gone.  That's the only reason for letting go of them.  My affection for them has never diminished.

Best,

I did send a pm (private message) shortly after posting a reply yesterday. The 'head and shoulders' figure . . .
. . . at the top right of your screen should now be highlighted in red.  Click on it, and you'll be guided to a drop-down menu.  The eighth option from the top will read 'Private messages'.  Click on that link.

Our private message system is tied into your e-mail account.  You can also see private messages there, as they will be entered into that address as well.  I don't think you can reply from your e-mail account, though.  Replies have to be made via private message.

Thanks,
