Glashütte Original (GO) Senator Sixties watch - RG/Black dial
I’m selling/trading my Glashütte Original Sixties watch. Purchased from a US AD six months ago and has yet to be worn. So you still have 18 months left on the warranty.
Recently given 86 points in the latest Watchtime review. This is stunning watch! Retro Cool! List Price (if you can find one) in the US is $12,800.
I’d like to trade for a Rolex GMTII (ceramic bezel), Milgaus, or recent model SeaDweller, most Panerais, Roger Dubuis or IWC Pilots’, Portuguese or Split Minute Aquatimer. Cash either way to make up the difference.
18kt Rose Gold case, hands, markers, crown and clasp. On the softest alligator strap I’ve ever come across. Complete with all boxes, papers and a GO loupe. Case is 39mm and nice and thin. Water resistant to 30 meters.
Cool thing about this watch if you’ve never seen one is the dome sapphire display back allows you to see the movement not only from the top, but from the sides! Unprecedented in watchmaking, this also complete view of the automatic movement.

Price: $8500 plus shipping. (That is a 35% discount for a BNIB watch that is impossible to find).
(from the GO website);
The Senator Sixties models recall the exciting, dynamic times of rock and roll and petticoats using curved design elements from the 1960s. Inspired by stylized characteristics from this era, a domed dial was chosen to grace this special edition that practically hugs the domed sapphire crystal covering it. The slim, polished hands are also arced, gliding across the satiny dial with its diamond-cut hour markers. Glashütte Original uses a shaped sapphire crystal for the first time that not only allows a direct look into the automatic caliber with all its special elements, but also makes a side view of the rotating oscillating weight crafted in 21-karat gold possible.
