for sale i am offering one of the best watches ever to come out of Asia. Grand Seiko's are recognized as being equal or superior in quality to many hi end swiss brands. the Grand Seiko Standard ensures that the watches are more accurate than Swiss chronometer certification. it is possible to get them to within +/-1-2 secs a day. they are made by only a few select master watchmakers in the Seiko factory and only made in small numbers in comparison to other seiko's.
this particular watch, model number 5645-7010 has a 34mm stainless steel case which is in superb condition with no dings or dents. the glass is unmarked. the caseback is in superb condition with a perfect gold medallion in the centre. it still has the plastic protective sticker on from a service prior to me purchasing it.
it is currently on a steel milanese strap, but can be put on a leather strap if preferred.
the dial is in perfect condition and has the very desirable black stick hands and hour markers instead of the more normal steel pointers. the date is at 3 oclock.
the movement is the 5645A automatic calibre which is adjusted to 5 positions and runs at 36000 vph. a true hi-beat and something only perfected by a few watchmakers. it is this that makes the watch so accurate. i would rate it as TZ 88-92%.
this is the last model to be made before Grand Seiko ceased production. they have since restarted and are making watches of equal quality.
the watch is currenty running on my wrist to within 3 seconds a day, but this cannot be guaranteed as everyone is different.
