Description

This is a limited edition of 250 watches made for the Asian (non-Japan) region of Grand Seiko's sales network, and released late in 2017. 

It's a high-beat 9S86 automatic movement, 36,000 bph, 37-jewel, with GMT, 55 hours running time with expected accuracy -1 / +8 seconds a day when in action. Adjusted in 6 positions and temperature. The watch has a 44GS-type angular Stainless Steel case, with 5-segment bracelet, sapphire front and rear glass, 40 x 14mm. Water resistance to 10 Bar.

I have worn this just a few times, as I have just not been able to fall in love with it (probably because I have about twenty other Grand Seikos and Credors).



The dial is called "Kasuri" as it evokes a style of fabric that is puckered with tiny stitches. 



Like many GS dials, the color changes dramatically with the source and angle of light.



I have not timed it over a long period, but it is nearly new, under warranty and should be running within GS standards.

Grand Seiko Kasuri SBGJ225 Is this watch still available? I am interested. I'm located in Virginia (just outside Washington, D.C.).  Beautiful watch. A few years ago I owned the white SBGJ001. I ultimately sold it but it was a spectacular watch.  This blue dial looks incredible. Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you. I have done many transactions on other forums.
