Sometimes, the life of a WIS (or perhaps just me) sucks...
I
just got this watch in this past week, wore it all day today, and once
the honeymoon period was over, I realized it's just not me. I simply
can't do all black watches. I should've learned this when I sold off my
Galapagos, but I've always been a slower learner (which is why I truly
appreciate the patience of those in the WIS community who have helped
me in the past...you know who you are).
So, here it is up for grabs.
The watch is in 95%+ condition.
I can't see a single scratch (let alone ding) on the full ceramic case.
Of course, the watch is keeping excellent time, and the split second
chronograph is working flawlessly. The build quality, something IWC
prides itself on, is simply astounding. There isn't a slight indication
of cost/corner cutting on this watch. Everything looks, feels, and is
top-rate.
The watch wears extremely comfortable, and the strap feels very
soft and high-end. In addition, the split second chronograph
functionality is very novel - it definitely gives the watch a far more
luxurious feel than your typical mechanical chronograph.
The package comes with both boxes (inner and outer cardboard), the
papers (service booklet, operating manual, even the original Tourneau
warranty booklet and IWC polishing cloth packet), and original
accessories (original caseback protective sticker and watch shipping
wrapping on the crystal).
Pricing it for a quick sale at $7,395 shipped CONUS. Please add $100 for international.
Lots of references available, and local SoCal deals are always welcome.
