Why have any doppel when you can have a very special IWC Limited Edition 3718-03 DFB doppelchrono. The case and crystal are in mint and near flawless condition. The double rattrapante chrono mechanism operates flawlessly and zeros-up as it should. The watch is an IWC Special Edition and one of only 500 units ever produced. It commemorates the German football team’s participation in the Euro 2008 matches, but IMHO this stunning watch clearly stands on its own merits. To my knowledge this is one of only two doppels that have been released with a cool white dial. Split second timing is a must during BBQ season and nothing looks cooler than the red and yellow split hands. The case, a mixture of polished and brushed is gorgeous.
However if you want to time the halves of a “fussball” match, this is the piece for you (including overtime up to 15 minutes running).
The watch comes 100% complete with inner and outer boxes, manual, warranty book, stamped warranty card, and polishing cloth. Condition 95%.
