Ever since the introduction of the first IWC Aquatimer (ref 812), IWC has been at the forefront of professional diver's watches. The introduction of the Aquatimer 3536 with its unheard-of depth rating of 2000 meters in 1998 proved a fine addition to the family. With a 3.7mm convex sapphire crystal, this is the first and only Aquatimer with an external rotating bezel. And what a sculpture it is, with it's powder coated black tray with polished, raised minute-timer markers. With a diameter of 42mm and a height of 14mm, this is the perfect size watch for a casual wearer or even a collector. Power Reserve: 42 hours.
Most ATs were produced in stainless with a black dial, the second most popular model was the titanium on a bracelet. The white dial stainless steel model was produced in very limited numbers, I have heard estimates anywhere from 200 to 600. Featuring a whitish/silver dial, gold hands, a mix of superluminova and tritium on the dial markers and tritium on the hands as well as a blued second hand, this is the most visually striking of all Aquatimers.
This watch is in 90% or better condition with only a slight ding on the 5 oclock lug. Comes on the original IWC GST bracelet, inner and outer boxes, warranty card from Westime (Los Angeles), no changing tools and no instruction booklet. Bracelet has enough links for 7 1/4" wrist.
